Staircase and Family Hall (Start of the tour)

 

After taking the staircase to the second upper floor, the first room you enter is the central Family Hall with large-scale portraits of members of the Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha family. Both rooms were designed by the architect Gottlieb Eberhard in around 1830 in a Historicist style inspired by the Renaissance.
